I like the “A Little Foxy” designer series paper stack for all those projects for children and babies. But it’s so much more than that. There are so many patterns in the stack that are for projects for grown ups too. You are bound to see more of this paper on my blog in future posts.
I really like how this card turned out. I think the fox images with the grey’s and calypso coral are rather fun for something a little different from your usual pink and blue bunnies! I had this card in my sample stack and got an order for 5 cards straight away!!
Another favourite of mine at the moment is the burlap ribbon. It’s a fabulous highlight for the congrats sentiment that I cut using the sunshine wishes thinlits. This neutral seems to work for almost anything and that natural rustic look is really popular with current design trends. When you are adhering your ribbon to the page remember to use the tear and tape or the fast fuse as you need to super strong adhesive to ensure it doesn’t fall off the card. How embarrasing would that be if your sentiment fell off when it arrived in the post! Ha Ha. A little tip is to put your adhesive down on the card first and then put your ribbon down. It really does give a better result even if it tempting to do it the other way around to get the ribbon lined up perfectly.
Here are the supplies used. Click on any image to view in my online store.
