I loved making this popular 3D project for my daughter’s birthday. She absolutely loves cards and always puts a lot of thought into the cards she gives, so I wanted to make her something special. It made it all the way to London from New Zealand in one piece so I was really pleased. It folds completely flat and fits into an ordinary envelope but I felt it needed a little more just to be sure. So I made a sturdy envelope for it out of card stock with the envelope punch board board and it worked really well.
I would love to take the credit for the Card in a Box but I must confess that I found the instructions on the internet. It is a popular card project on You Tube and Pinterest. The easiest instructions I found were by Tina Zinck from Canada. You can see her video with written instructions here.
