This week’s Global Design Project challenge is to “case the designer”. The idea is to take the designer’s card and CASE it. That is “copy and selectively edit” to come up with your own design. Check out all the other entries here.
Tanja Kolar’s gorgeous design pictured above inspired the layout of my card. I love the panel layout! This is the layout I used for my wedding thank you cards. I just think it so effective and I find it relatively easy to cut the pieces ready. Like the other designers I was also inspired by the soft pastel colours Tanja used.
I couldn’t decide which size flower to use so I have made two cards using them both. What do you think? Tell me which one you like best by leaving me a comment below.
You can’t see it in the pic but I have used the wink of stella glitter pen on the centers of each flower. It really gives it that something extra without much effort.
I have folded the banner and popped up one end with two dimensionals stacked on top of each other. I saw this idea in the annual catalogue and gave it a whirl. Quite like it!
Here are the supplies used. Click on any of the images to view on line.
I hope you enjoyed this idea and thanks for visiting Jazzy Stamping!
