UPDATE! I was picked as one of 4 winners! Some amazing cards in the special mentions list too! Can’t believe it! There were 51 entries from around the world so I feel very honoured indeed.
Well here we go with another entry for the Global Design Project. It’s a colour challenge this week and I knew I had to enter when one of the colours used was Night of Navy. Now I am not usually a gold kinda girl. Silver is usually my metallic of choice but Gold goes so perfectly with night of Navy I have to say. Our Gold Foil Sheets will absolutely have to go on my next order! So on trend right now especially for Christmas Cards.
So I had to improvise. I found a gold overlay in my Project Life stash and used that for the gold. The butterflies were stamped in Night of Navy and the greeting is from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set. At the time of writing this the Thoughtful Branches Bundle is still available in New Zealand and Australia. So if you want your set I recommend getting it now as it’s only while stocks last! I absolutely love the greetings in this set. The font is gorgeous! Of course it just had to have a rhinestone. Such an economical way to Jazz it up just a little bit more.
I really enjoy the Global Design Project Challenges. They inspire me to get out of my comfort zone and try things I might never thought of. Be sure to check out the other entries HERE.
