Love to You x

gdp057-1
Well here we go with another entry for the Global Design Project. It’s a colour challenge this week and I knew I had the perfect colours to use so I had to give it a go. I was really inspired by Krista Frattin’s card. I loved the Rich Razzleberry background with the die cut greeting in Mint Macaron.

Every now and again I force myself to dig into my scrap bin and make something using what I have. This challenge was perfect for it. It’s another way to get the brain thinking a wee bit outside the square. I was pleased with how this card came together. The finishing touch was the little enamel heart in the matching Rich Razzleberry from the Brights enamel shapes pack.

Unfortunately the photography doesn’t show it but I went over the images with the clear Wink of Stella glitter brush pen…..because I put that on almost everything. Just adds an extra depth of colour to the gorgeous paisley styled flowers on the designer series paper.

I really enjoy the Global Design Project Challenges. They inspire me to get out of my comfort zone and try things I might never thought of. Be sure to check out the other entries here.

Fun and bright! It is hard to photograph the Wink of Stella – but I know this would be beautiful to look at and add a little extra bling. Great card. Thanks so much for playing along to the Global Design Project this week. xo

I found the ‘Love to you x” design really outstanding. I just love the concept and colour pallet, which is so romantic.
